The 5th edition of BioMarine International Business Convention takes place in Portugal under the high patronage of the President of Portugal, Prof. Aníbal Cavaco Silva and Prince Albert II of Monaco.

A strategic international convention, with clear objectives of enhancing the potential of the Blue Economy will bring together more than 300 CEOs and where representations of over 30 countries are expected.
Given the fact that one of our missions is the sustainable exploitation of marine biomass, MadeBiotech will be present on both days of convention and will represented by its CEO Miguel Tavares Cardoso, PhD.

MadeBiotech is an associate member of the BioMarine International Clusters Association (BICA), an association created with the objective of promoting international business opportunities and partnerships and facilitate access to funding, focused on the implementation of best practices to ensure a sustainable and innovative use of marine bioresources.

Launched during the Halifax BioMarine Convention, the 1st General Assembly of BICA will occur on the day preceding the BioMarine International Business Convention, and is expected to be given the first steps for the discussion and resolution of issues addressed in previous conventions.
